Since April 2017, the old DVB-T signal has been switched off in Germany. Instead, the new standard was introduced: DVB-T2. The new High Efficiency Video Coding (H.265 HEVC) enables TV broadcasting in Ultra HD (UHD 7680 x 4320 pixels). To receive the HD channels, you need a DVB-T2 receiver that supports the new H.265 HEVC standard. Our DVB-T/T2 set includes a Full HD capable DVB-T/T2 receiver and a high-quality HDMI cable.
The compact and versatile Opticum AX 500 receiver is the future-proof solution for DVB-T/T2 reception. It allows you to receive free-to-air as well as encrypted HD channels via DVB-T2 (Freenet TV contract required).
Thanks to the built-in USB media player, you can play a variety of media files from a USB stick or hard disk directly on the set.
