Application:
- Connect DisplayPort to the converter: Plug the end of the DisplayPort cable into the DisplayPort connector on your signal source (e.g. a computer). Make sure the cable is plugged in properly and securely.
- Connect HDMI to monitor/TV: Now plug the other end of the DisplayPort to HDMI converter into the HDMI connector on your monitor, TV or projector.
- Turn on the signal source: When all connections are made, turn on the signal source (computer or other device).
- Select the input on your monitor/TV: Switch on the HDMI input on your monitor, TV or projector. You may need to use the remote control or the buttons on the unit to do this. 5.Wait for the unit to turn on.
- Wait until the devices are recognised: After switching on the monitor and the signal source, wait a few seconds for the devices to recognise each other and synchronise.
- Adjust resolution and sound (if necessary): You may need to adjust the screen resolution and sound of your signal source to match the capabilities of your monitor or TV.
