In the engine room of the SX887 HD is state-of-the-art hardware that can meet almost all your multimedia requirements. A Hisilicon 32 bit processor is installed as well as a multi-core graphics processor. This equipment not only ensures smooth playback of your multimedia content, but also fast boot times and quick navigation within the multilingual menus.
Full HD resolution H.265 HEC 1080P
With the OCTAGON SX887 HD H.265 IP Receiver you can enjoy your content in razor-sharp FHD resolution at 60 frames per second with 1920 x 1080 pixels. Furthermore, the SX887 HD H.265 IP E2TV offers compatibility with the Multiroom TV client system of Enigma2 devices. The SX887 HD decodes the content in the HEVC/H.265 standard, which, among other things, helps to conserve your bandwidth. Standards such as H.264 and AVS are supported by the OCTAGON SX887 HD H.265 IP as well as almost all video, audio and image formats.

The OCTAGON SX887 comes with the extremely popular and easy-to-use Octagon Define-OS Linux operating system.
This means that you benefit from the possibility of constantly expanding the entertainment offer. Numerous free apps such as YouTube, media libraries and numerous popular media players are available for this purpose. This means that there are almost no limits to your entertainment enjoyment and you will get your money's worth as a multimedia, series or film fan!
Interface diversity and connectivity
OCTAGON has equipped the SX887 HD H.265 IP with the most common interfaces and thus ensured a high level of connectivity for the multimedia box. There are 2x USB ports on the side of the multimedia box. At the back of the SX887 HD H.265 IP you will also find an HDMI 1.4b port, an S/PDIF interface and an Ethernet LAN port. An integrated IR sensor as well as a port for the included additional external IR receiver are also attached.
