AXIhycon 15H – PV Hybrid Inverter with 15kW Rated Power for Storage & Backup
The AXIhycon 15H is a three-phase PV hybrid inverter from the AXITEC 12H–20H series with a rated power of 15kW. It is compatible with the AXIstorage Li SV1, SV2 and SV3 battery storage systems, enabling a flexible combination of photovoltaic generation and battery storage in a single system. With 4 MPP trackers and 4 independent PV inputs, the PV system can be configured flexibly – with a maximum string current of 20A and a short-circuit current of up to 30A per input, and a maximum input power of 9kW per MPP tracker. Recommended PV power is 10-21kWp, with up to 24kWp connectable.
The UPS response time of under 10ms ensures uninterrupted switching to backup operation in the event of a grid outage, with a peak apparent power of 30kVA for 10 seconds. The inverter supports peak shaving, generator connection, and SG-Ready compatibility for integration into smart grid applications. With a maximum efficiency of 98.5% and a European efficiency of 97.5%, the unit operates highly efficiently; the efficiency during battery charging and discharging is 97.5%.
The robust enclosure with IP66 protection rating and Smart Cooling allows outdoor operation at ambient temperatures from -25°C to +60°C. Protection functions such as anti-islanding, integrated AFCI, DC and battery reverse-polarity protection, and PV surge protection ensure safe operation. The inverter is compatible with the Smart Fox, Clever-PV, Plexlog and Solar Manager energy management systems and can be monitored via LED display, Bluetooth and app.
