Solar Connector Set – Male and Female for 4mm² and 6mm² Solar Cable
The PV solar connector set consists of one male connector and one female connector and provides a secure, detachable connection for solar cables with 4mm² or 6mm² conductor cross-section (12AWG/10AWG). The permissible cable outer diameter is 5.6...6.3mm. The connector is rated for 1500V according to both IEC and UL and is certified to IEC 62852 and UL 6703.
High-quality materials ensure a low contact resistance of no more than 0.25mΩ, which means low transition losses at a rated current of 39A – a key factor for the yield of the entire PV system. The contacts are made of copper, the housing of PPE with flammability rating UL94-V0. The rated impulse voltage is 16kV.
With IP68 protection, a silicone sealing ring, cable claw and screw nut, the connection is permanently protected against moisture. The UV-resistant housing and the wide operating range of -40...+90°C make the connector suitable for permanent outdoor use on rooftop and ground-mounted installations. The NEC locking system can only be released with a tool and prevents accidental disconnection under load.
