More product details

This coloured pigtail set consists of 12 pre-assembled OM4 multi-mode pigtails with LC UPC connectors and a length of 2 metres each. The pigtails are intended for splicing in fibre-optic distributors, splice boxes, patch fields or data networks and are ideally suited to modern multi-mode installations in data centres, building networks and structured cabling.

Each pigtail has a 900 µm fibre coating and is made in its own colour. The twelve colours – red, green, blue, yellow, white, grey, brown, violet, turquoise, black, orange and pink – enable a clear and quick assignment of the individual fibres in the distributor. This makes installation easier and ensures a clearly arranged structure for fibre-optic connections.

The fibres can be easily stripped up to a length of 1 metre, which makes the preparation for splicing considerably easier and more flexible. This allows installers to route the fibres cleanly and organise them optimally in the distributor.

The OM4 50/125 µm multi-mode fibre used is suitable for high-performance fibre-optic networks with high data rates. The halogen-free and flame-retardant LSZH jacket is specially designed for indoor use and ensures safe fire behaviour.

The LC UPC multi-mode plugs have a violet housing, matching the OM4 fibre marking. In addition, each cable comes with an individual test report confirming the quality of the connection. The set complies with the DIN EN 50173-1 and IEC/ISO 11801 standards and is designed for professional network and data-centre installations.
