According to the official specification, the DVI-I standard transmits only digital and no analogue VGA signals. Nevertheless, many manufacturers do not adhere to the standard specifications and allow the transmission of analogue signals via digital DVI-I connection.
If your graphics card or mainboard does not support the transmission of analogue signals via DVI-I, the adapter is not suitable for you. In this case you need an active DVI-I - VGA adapter (converter).
If your graphics card has a DVI-D or DVI-A output, please order an appropriate adapter.
