For outdoor installation, it is recommended to use a photovoltaic cable for solar modules. Unlike conventional cables, the solar module cable has a special double-layer insulation that protects the copper conductors from environmental influences of all kinds (rain, snow, UV radiation, temperature fluctuations).
The use of this solar PV cable prevents possible problems during the operation of solar modules.
The cross-section of the solar cable should be chosen according to its length and the power of the solar modules to minimise losses.
