AXIhycon 50H – PV Hybrid Inverter with 50kW Rated Power for Storage & Backup
The AXIhycon 50H is a three-phase PV hybrid inverter from the AXITEC 29.9H–50H series with a rated power of 50kW – the most powerful model in the series. It is compatible with the AXIstorage Li SV1, SV2, SV3 and Titan battery storage systems, enabling a flexible combination of photovoltaic generation and battery storage in a single system. With up to 4 MPP trackers and 8 strings, the PV system can be configured flexibly – with a maximum string current of 20A per string (2 strings per tracker, resulting in up to 40A input current per MPP tracker) and a short-circuit current of up to 30A per string. Recommended PV power is 40-70kWp, with up to 100kWp connectable.
The UPS response time of under 10ms ensures uninterrupted switching to backup operation in the event of a grid outage, with a peak apparent power of 80kVA for 2 seconds. The inverter supports peak shaving as well as generator connection for additional reliability. With a maximum efficiency of 97.6% and a European efficiency of 97.0%, the unit operates highly efficiently; the efficiency during battery charging and discharging is 97.5%.
The robust enclosure with IP66 protection rating and Smart Cooling allows outdoor operation at ambient temperatures from -25°C to +60°C. Comprehensive protection functions such as anti-islanding, integrated AFCI, DC and battery reverse-polarity protection, and Type II PV surge protection ensure safe operation. The inverter is compatible with the Smart Fox, Clever-PV, Plexlog and Solar Manager energy management systems and can be monitored via LED display, Bluetooth and app.
