LWL outdoor connector SC/APC Simplex IP68 with 2x cable glands
This LWL outdoor connector is designed for fibre-optic installations outdoors and in industrial environments. It is suitable for SC/APC Simplex plug connections and enables a protected connection of fibre-optic cables in applications where plug connections must be reliably protected against dust, moisture and environmental influences.
The integrated SC/APC Simplex adapter with ceramic sleeve ensures a precise and stable connection. Both sides of the connector are fitted with cable glands, allowing the connected fibre-optic cables to be sealed securely. This makes this version particularly suitable for installations where both cable sides are to be led in protected.
With protection class IP68, the connector is completely dust- and waterproof and is thus suitable for demanding outdoor applications, fibre-optic distributors, housing feed-throughs or industrial network installations. The robust PA66 housing ensures a resistant and durable design.
