General Information: This solar cable set 6mm² combines the key components for wiring a photovoltaic system in a single order: 100m of H1Z2Z2-K solar cable each in black and red, 20 pairs of solar connectors (compatible with MC4), a set of crimping pliers for solar connectors and 2 spanners. Cable and connectors are delivered separately: the cables have no connectors fitted and the connectors are not pre-assembled.
Function: With the set, the solar cables can be cut to the required length and fitted with connectors yourself. The crimping pliers are used for solder-free assembly of the connectors on the cable; the spanners are used to tighten the connecting screws of the connectors.
Applications: The set is suitable for wiring photovoltaic systems – connecting solar modules, module strings, generator junction boxes and inverters, extending existing module connection cables and repairing damaged plug connections. The solar connectors are compatible with MC4 connectors.
Material: The cables have a flexible class 5 conductor made of tinned copper with cross-linked, halogen-free insulation and outer sheath. The connectors have copper contacts and a UV-resistant PPE housing with flammability class UL94-V0 and IP68 protection.
Technical Details: The cables are rated for voltages up to 1500V DC; the connectors have a rated voltage of 1500V and a rated current of 39A with a contact resistance of max. 0.25mΩ. Cables and connectors are designed for a temperature range of -40...+90°C. The crimping pliers handle cross-sections of 2.5 / 4.0 / 6.0mm² and feature interchangeable adapters for precise alignment of the connectors. In total, the set contains 200m of cable plus 20 plugs and 20 sockets.
