This TAE telephone socket is suitable for connecting two telephones and an additional device such as an answering machine or fax. The socket is designed for surface Installation.
F - stands for Fernsprechen and is intended for telephones. NTBA or DSL splitters are also plugged into the F socket.
N - stands for extension / slave unit for connecting answering machines, fax machines, modems and charge indicators, telephone-fax combination units.
