Fuba EFD 074 F-Coupler with Earthing Clamp 4-Way – Earthing Block for Four Coax Cables
The Fuba EFD 074 is an F-coupler with earthing clamp in a 4-way version. It joins four coaxial cables via F-type sockets on both sides and at the same time bonds the cable shields into the equipotential bonding system.
The four couplers sit together on an earthing rail that is mounted to a wall, mast or distribution cabinet using the side fixing tabs. A single component therefore handles two jobs: through-connecting the cables and centrally earthing four cable shields at one point – without separate earthing clamps for each line.
Installing such an earthing block is mandatory for antenna systems under DIN EN 60728-11: the shields of all coaxial cables coming from the roof must be led into the building’s equipotential bonding. The EFD 074 fulfils exactly this requirement for up to four cables.
