More product details

This coloured pigtail set consists of 12 pre-assembled single-mode pigtails with LC UPC connectors and a length of 2 metres each. The pigtails are intended for splicing in fibre-optic distributors, splice boxes, patch fields or FTTH connection solutions and enable a clean and clearly arranged installation of OS2 single-mode fibres.

Each pigtail has a 900 µm fibre coating and is made in its own colour. The twelve colours – red, green, blue, yellow, white, grey, brown, violet, turquoise, black, orange and pink – make it easier to clearly assign the fibres in the distributor. Especially with installations involving several fibres, the colour coding ensures quick orientation and reduces errors in the assignment.

The fibres can be easily stripped up to a length of 1 metre, which makes preparation for splicing considerably easier. This allows the fibres to be prepared cleanly and routed flexibly in the distributor.

The pigtails consist of OS2 9/125 µm single-mode fibre and are equipped with a halogen-free, flame-retardant LSZH jacket. This version is particularly suitable for indoor use, for example in building cabling or telecommunications installations.

The set meets the requirements of the DIN EN 50173-1 and IEC/ISO 11801 standards and is suitable for modern structured fibre-optic networks in professional network and FTTH installations.
