CAT 7 Duplex Installation Cable GHMT certified – two lines for professional networks up to 10 Gbit/s
General information: This GHMT certified CAT 7 Duplex installation cable is designed for fixed network runs where two separate data lines are required. Instead of installing two individual cables, the Duplex version combines two parallel CAT 7 lines in one cable arrangement. This saves installation time, keeps the cable routing clean and is especially practical for double network sockets, patch panels or installations with a spare line. Each line is made with pure copper conductors, supports data rates of up to 10 Gbit/s and is backward compatible with CAT.6a, CAT.6, CAT5e and CAT.5. The halogen-free LSZH jacket makes the cable suitable for modern building cabling, office installations and professional network infrastructures.
Function: Each of the two lines uses solid AWG23/1 copper conductors, individual PiMF pair shielding and an additional S/FTP overall shield. This construction effectively reduces electromagnetic interference and keeps the signal quality stable, even over longer distances or in densely routed cable paths. The Duplex design allows two independent network connections within one cable assembly. The GHMT certification confirms the technical suitability of the cable for demanding network installations.

Hardware & technology: Each line is built as a solid-wire cable with AWG23/1 conductors made from bare annealed copper. The four twisted pairs are individually shielded and additionally protected by an overall shield. Together with the robust LSZH outer jacket, this construction provides reliable and durable data transmission for building cabling. The cable supports common network applications according to IEEE 802.3, including 10/100/1000Base-T, 10GBase-T as well as PoE, PoE+ and PoE++.
